(it's absolutely gorgeous in real life.) I assumed it was about $800 like the last one I had to have there so I didn't get my hopes up. Well, I just about died when Lisa told me it was only $399. $399!! I told her I would talk to my hubby and hopefully come get it.
Very much to my surprise, Jake wanted to buy it for me! I was shocked and SO excited. I called the store to pay for it and the lady said that it just sold 10 minutes ago.
I just barely stopped crying. :(
Crap. I'm sorry, Candis. Next time no talking about it with Jake before making a big purchase though. You've learned your lesson. Just whip out the debit card and ask forgiveness later!

ReplyDeleteOh Candis, that is SO sad. Couldn't she have held it for you? Perhaps there is something even better waiting for you on the horizon and you wouldn't have been able to get it because you had just bought the sofa that wasn't as amazing as the more fabulous thing, right?
