Today marks the ending of an era. You probably all know how often Tommy sleeps...it's all due to the magnificent and magical swing that he (and I) love so much. Well, last night I came in to feed him and move him to his crib. I found him sleeping slouched forward while swinging. Obviously I freaked out and decided then and there that he was just too strong of a sitter-upper to sleep in there anymore :( I already put it away to avoid temptation.
I've been listening to him cry himself to sleep in his crib for his nap for 20 minutes now. Oh I miss you already, swing.
It is a sad day....hope he gets used to going to bed on his own soon!!
ReplyDeleteAAAHHH! That must have been a scary thing to walk in on! Oh, man, I hope it doesn't change things TOO much, but it might! He looks super cute, though!

And I'm kinda glad I'll see this kid around more often. For cryin out loud- Parker's here sitting on my lap and he couldn't name tommy in your family picture. He just said "james...and chomper...and another one..."
What a scary thing! I am glad he is okay... he looks happy though in his Bumbo!! {I think that is the right name for it!} I am getting out of the loop with baby things.. I need another one! He has cute hair! :]
