told you...

So...I told you things were really going to change around here (thus, no posts lately.)

To be fair, Tommy has turned out to be a fabulous napper, even sans swing. I don't really know why my life has felt like it has just blown up, but that is the sad and depressing truth :) Haha. Okay, but seriously, things are good (I'm in a better mood than I have been in a while, thank you synthroid) but THIS HOUSE! WILL. NOT. STAY. CLEAN. It is obviously driving me mad. I very much subscribe to the saying that "trying to clean your house while you have children is like shoveling snow in a blizzard" but, FREAK, how long is this blizzard going to last?

I'm going to just let it go...and do what I can. Right? Right.

ANYWAY...the reason for posting. I am trying to be a better mom/housewife in other areas instead so I am trying this new thing called 'cooking most nights.' I just logged on to the MOST awesome/life-changing websites called "Deals to Meals". I love it. Really, really do. It basically helps you not have to look through all of those ANNOYING sale flyers and puts everything right in front of you while simultaneously helping you build food storage.

So, I will let you know how that all works out.

  1. Candis, you come over here with all your kids (or just the ones who are awake). I'll go to your house with no kids. I'll clean. You'll play out back. I think we'd both be happy. Seriously.

  2. I understand... I've just come out of the worst three months I have EVER known. I thought I had some hard times in the past... but man, then I had kids... including a potty training one, a teething one, and helping with other peoples kids when I had spare time. I was ready to kill Ada every time she made a mess... but I think I feel better. At least I have for a couple of days. We'll see how long we can make it last!
